This weekend I had the opportunity to walk around Kensington Market in Toronto. What a wonderful opportunity to take some amazing photographs!

This weekend I had the opportunity to shoot for a friend I hadn't seen in many years. He has a wonderful family! We had such a great day taking so many wonderful photographs.

I was walking  along the waterfront in Barrie the other day. I have seen this man playing his guitar many times on the boardwalk. This time, I stopped and asked him if I could take a few pictures. I love the look of them and to me it captures his spirit perfectly.

I had a great photo session on the weekend with an old friend from Port Elgin. She has such a beautiful family!!

I received a nice surprise this week in my little world of photography. I was contacted by "Woman's Day" magazine as they are interested in using one of my photos for an upcoming article on snow castle sculptures.

Last January, while I was out for a walk with the dog, I noticed that a large snow castle was being built on the Barrie waterfront. The sun was just starting to set and I loved the way the colour was falling on the snow castle. What a great opportunity for a photograph!!

It turns out the city was erecting the castle for the upcoming Barrie Winterfest carnival. The following weekend, the castle was opened and children were allowed to walk through it and take a ride down an ice slide at one end.

Had a great photo session this week with a wonderful family. They are all so photogenic! This is my favourite picture from the day. What a great shot of mother and daughter by the Christmas tree!
